Avoiding Mistakes When Going Digital
April 5, 2026
Going digital is a win for most restaurants, but a few mistakes can get in the way.
- Outdated prices or items — Update your digital menu as soon as something changes. Stale info frustrates guests and undermines trust.
- Hard-to-find or tiny QR codes — Place the QR where guests naturally look: on the table, at the entrance, or on a stand. Make it large enough to scan easily.
- Poor or missing photos — Blurry or absent images make the menu feel unfinished. A few clear photos of signature dishes go a long way.
- No WiFi info — If guests need the internet to open the menu, show your WiFi name and password nearby.
